I’ve moved to Spain… (me he mudado a España, busco músicos por Huesca/Zaragoza)

The Chuck Cassidy Band project has stalled due to personnel issues, but I joined a band last year in Zaragoza as bass player, and another band in Graus this September, where I will be the lead singer and rhythm guitarist doing metal and punk covers. I’m still hoping to move forward with my project, but it will have a different look than I had imagined it due to the near impossibility of getting gigs doing your own music. So, more covers, power trio with distorted bass ala Motorhead/Pantera…and a few of my own tunes.

Quiero empezar con 2 -3 temas mios y 8 – 9 versiones del mismo rollo. Con tiempo, ampliamos el repertorio poco a poco. Tengo muchas canciones, así que si no te gustan algunas, no las hacemos.

My Music: I’ve spent the last three and a half years writing and recording my own brand of southern-fried hard rock/heavy metal, best described as an amalgamation reminiscent of Skynyrd, Pantera, Motorhead, Black Label Society, ZZ Top, and grunge. I don’t release albums, because that’s a waste of money these days, just singles every time inspiration strikes. More coming very soon…

The most important part of my original music is the lyrics, but I always try to make sure the song sounds cool first and foremost. My songs face unpopular truths that most avoid, based on my life’s experience and observations living in six countries and experiencing extreme highs and lows throughout the past 20 years or so. They are about the lies we tell, mostly to ourselves. Lately, I’m trying to write about happier stuff…I’m a work in progress, no doubt. My sound continues to evolve as I get better at recording, so go easy on my first several releases…
